About The Position

Marin French Cheese is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our Bistro team. In this role, you’ll help prepare delicious sandwiches, salads, grab-and-go items, and made-to-order dishes that showcase our award-winning cheeses and locally inspired flavors. If you enjoy hands-on food prep, staying organized, and being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to meet you.

Requirements

• Previous prep cook, fast food, or kitchen experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• ServSafe certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
• Must be able to speak and understand English; Spanish is a plus
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist with made-to-order menu items during service hours
• Label, date, store, and rotate ingredients properly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and daily prep lists
• Support opening and closing duties
• Work closely with the Bistro and Retail teams to keep operations running smoothly
