About The Position

Cheeky, a high-energy seafood restaurant from The Neighborhood Dining Group (the team behind Husk, Delaney Oyster House, Marbled & Fin, The James, and Minero), is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join its culinary team. Cheeky celebrates pristine coastal ingredients, pours great cocktails and vibrant wines and bubbles, and offers a lively indoor-outdoor energy defined by warm, spirited hospitality. This is an opportunity to work in a chef-driven kitchen committed to quality and consistency, with a playful spirit and plenty of personality.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume, high-quality kitchen
• Reliable, focused, and eager to learn
• Organized with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• A team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and basic components according to recipes and prep lists
• Wash, chop, portion, label, and store food items following safety standards
• Assist line cooks and chefs in preparing for service
• Maintain a clean and organized prep station and kitchen environment
• Support daily cleaning and closing procedures
• Follow all health, sanitation, and safety procedures consistently
