Requirements

  • Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an asset but not required
  • Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies when needed

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, portioning, and measuring according to recipes
  • Follow daily prep lists to ensure all items are ready for service
  • Label, date, and store food items properly following food safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized prep station
  • Assist line cooks and kitchen staff as needed
  • Ensure kitchen equipment and tools are cleaned and maintained
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
