Requirements

  • Registered Nurse
  • Associate’s in Nursing or Bachelor’s in Nursing

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in prenatal care or women’s health, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for pregnant patients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing emotional support.
  • Provide information on prenatal care, screening tests, and available resources to patients.
  • Ensure that patients understand their care plan and follow necessary steps for optimal health during pregnancy.
  • Schedule and manage prenatal appointments, ultrasounds, and other necessary tests for patients.
  • Send reminders and follow-ups for upcoming appointments and procedures.
  • Coordinate with various healthcare providers, including obstetricians, sonographers, and specialists, to ensure seamless care.
  • Assist patients with understanding insurance coverage and financial options for prenatal care.
  • Accurately type, transcribe all documentation in a timely manner. Always proofread work prior to distribution.
  • Promptly complete assignments in an independent manner; meet deadlines in daily responsibilities and special projects. Follow up on patient scheduling.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring timely and clear communication of test results, concerns, and follow-up care.
  • Support care teams by sharing updates on patient progress and ensuring continuity of care.
  • Work closely with insurance providers, if necessary, to ensure patients have access to appropriate care.
