About The Position

We are looking for someone who is interested in proactively growing group exercise participation in their classes. We expect you to get to know both new and existing members while promoting & driving group exercise awareness and adherence.

Requirements

• Certified and experienced Group Exercise Instructors.
• Can ideally teach several genres.
• Interested in current group exercise trends.
• Works well as part of a larger team.
• Appreciates customer feedback and strives to exceed expectations.
• Proactive approach and solution driven with the ability to adapt to change.
• Excellent organizing, planning and communication skills.
• Group Fitness National Certification such as, ACE, AFAA, Spinning, YogaFit, Zumba, Beach Body, Mossa (formerly BTS), etc.
• Demonstrate the ability to move rhythmically to the beat of the music, including the ability to incorporate optimal usage of cueing, tempo, choreography, and safe transitional movement from one pattern to another.
• Knowledge of safe exercise technique and group exercise principles.
• Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
• Performance of a variety of exercise routines.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the position including the ability to lift weights, bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning, and kicking.
• Up to date on current fitness and exercise trends.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with CMS/CRM software a plus.

• Operate and troubleshoot audio/visual equipment.
• Provide music that enhances the choreography of routines.
• Communicate positively with potential members, current members, club guests, and all FITWORKS team members.
• Be trained on all FITWORKS systems and processes.
• Achieve set goals and metrics in a fast-paced environment.
