About The Position
Farm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a Premium Auditor to join their team. This role involves interviewing clients/members to review financial records and other documentation to accurately classify and apply payroll and/or sales exposures for commercial package and workers’ compensation policies in compliance with bureau regulations and company guidelines. Requirements
- College degree preferred experience in a premium audit function; accounting or commercial insurance a plus.
- Solid math skills with knowledge of accounting practices.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct premium audits on commercial and Ag policies.
- Schedule and conduct telephone interviews with client/members to review operations, determine proper classification, and develop accurate exposures.
- Analyze various financial records to develop exposure and accurately calculate policy premium.
- Make policy classification recommendations based on ISO and rating bureau rules.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with varying levels of complexity based on audit interview and supporting documentation submitted by the client/member.
- Perform audit related processing functions for both workers’ compensation and general liability policies.
