About The Position

The Premium Suites Bartender prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers at designated Premium locations. They are responsible for providing event day service to ONT Field guests, while exhibiting a warm, friendly and professional demeanor to build relationships that will enhance the guest experience.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum 21 years of age
  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Previous bartending experience a plus
  • Previous customer service and cash handling experience is a plus
  • Basic math and cash handling experience
  • Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
  • Working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A valid food handler’s card is required for this position.

  • Tasks are performed with moderate supervision without assistance for 40% of the workday; pushing and pulling doors open, lifting, stooping, bending and lifting at least 25 lbs.

  • This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
  • Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later.
  • Must be able to pass the background.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for mixing drinks to order and serving customers
  • Responsible for having knowledge of all bar drinks and wines
  • Maintain valid food handlers and alcoholic beverage server permits required by the Department of Health
  • Assists in maintaining, organizing and cleaning all work area and equipment
  • Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service
  • Ensures all merchandizing and signage is properly displayed for each event
  • Must adhere to the Company dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes
  • Obtain assigned workstation at beginning of shift
  • Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner
  • Accurately use POS system while serving high volumes of guests
  • Follow cash handling and tip reporting guidelines
  • Expedite guest drink orders in a timely manner
  • Stock product, set up garnish stations, cashier stations and display baskets
  • Thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
  • Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
  • Understand and execute responsible alcohol service
  • Understand and maintain proper sanitation and food safety
  • Be comfortable with the Arena and know how to navigate personally, as well as, assist guests
  • Help maintain and ensure excellent customer service
  • Abides by all Company policies in the Human Resources Policies and Procedures, the Business Code of Conduct
  • Other duties as assigned
