About The Position
The Preload Supervisor supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The role maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. It provides effective leadership and fosters working relationships with personnel throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States for this employer.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
- Management experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
- Facilitate training for new and current employees.
- Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and comply with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
- Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
