T26-27 - PREK SPECIAL ED TEACHER (Syphax - Child Find)
About The Position
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Syphax-Child Find. Salary will be based on the FY 2026-27 salary schedule. Arlington Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure
- Special Education endorsement
- Experience teaching elementary students with special needs
Nice To Haves
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct multidisciplinary evaluations and prepare comprehensive formal reports for parents and collaborative team review
- Ability to work effectively as a team member with colleagues
