The Early Childhood Education Department combines a deep passion for early education with meaningful support for the staff who make the magic happen. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Preschool Plus Paraeducator to support extended care programming for preschool students. This position works closely with teachers to provide instructional, behavioral, and personal care support that helps young children build independence, confidence, and school readiness skills in an inclusive learning environment. The Preschool Plus Paraeducator helps maintain safe, engaging, and organized classrooms while supporting daily routines, individualized student needs, and positive social-emotional development. The ideal candidate is reliable, patient, flexible, team-oriented, and passionate about supporting young children with diverse learning and developmental needs. The Coordinator I: Program Support position supports the implementation and day-to-day coordination of district programs, services, or operational processes within an assigned department. This role focuses on ensuring program activities are organized, documented, and implemented effectively while supporting departmental staff and stakeholders. This position also works within established procedures and provides administrative and operational support to ensure programs run efficiently and meet district expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of related administrative or program support experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business administration, data management, education, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a K–12 school district or educational environment.
  • Experience generating reports and analyzing data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Experience training or supporting staff on procedures or systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating program activities, schedules, and communications.
  • Support the implementation of department initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain documentation and program records.
  • Monitor program processes and assist with daily operations.
  • Track program participation, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Maintain internal systems, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Compile program data and assist with preparing reports.
  • Maintain accurate records to support program accountability.
  • Communicate with internal staff regarding program processes.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings, trainings, or program activities.

Benefits

  • Non-Recurring Pay: 7% of base salary in Non-Recurring Pay (distributed as 3.5% on November paycheck and 3.5 % on May paycheck).
  • Staffing Stability Incentive (Adams Elementary, Galileo Middle School and Mitchell High School): ESP employees will receive the equivalent of one salary step divided over 12 pay periods.
