About The Position

The Prefab Assembler works in the prefabrication shop to better understand the electrical field while assembling electrical components for field teams.

Requirements

  • Basic wok ethics (coming to work on time every day with all appropriate attire and tools)

  • Using Bandsaw, Sawzall, Battery Drills, and Power Drills
  • Using basic cleaning tools

  • Lifting, floor to chest (up to 50lbs)
  • Lifting, floor to waist (up to 50lbs)

  • Vision acuity (near, far and without color deficiencies)
  • Walking
  • Kneeling
  • Trimming (final installation of electrical devices)
  • Pushing (up to 100lbs)
  • Pulling (up to 100lbs)
  • High School Diploma or GED Required.

  • Wears tools at all required times
  • Work in all weather conditions
  • Work in the prefabrication shop to fabricate small electrical pieces
  • Ensure housekeeping in the prefabrication shop is under control
  • Prepare and pack boxes to be filled with completed prefabrication material and shipped to the jobsite
  • Fabricate plugs and switches, recessed cans, and other repetitive work
  • Perform duties as assigned by lead personnel
