About The Position

Murray Company is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager or Senior Preconstruction Manager to join their team, specializing in the healthcare industry. The role involves managing new constructions, additions, and renovations from concept to completion. The Preconstruction Manager will lead the development and setup of complex, multi-million-dollar projects, playing a critical role in strategic planning and execution. This position requires strong leadership, communication, scheduling, estimating, and operations planning skills, along with the ability to collaborate closely with design and construction teams. The role will support project pursuits and early client engagement, partnering with Business Development and Marketing to execute sales and marketing strategies. Ideal candidates will possess a proactive mindset, strong critical-thinking abilities, and a commitment to innovation in preconstruction processes to drive successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience (10+ years preferred)
  • At least 8 years of construction experience in estimating, project management, or business development
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Procore
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and trade partners
  • Willingness to travel overnight to project locations
  • Valid driver’s license
