Preconstruction Manager – Healthcare Construction
About The Position
Murray Company is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager or Senior Preconstruction Manager to join our team, specializing in the healthcare industry. We manage new constructions, additions, and renovations from concept to completion. This role is critical in leading the development and setup of complex, multi-million-dollar projects, requiring strong leadership, communication, scheduling, estimating, and operations planning skills. The position involves collaborating closely with design and construction teams, supporting project pursuits, early client engagement, and partnering with Business Development and Marketing to execute sales and marketing strategies. We are looking for candidates with a proactive mindset, strong critical-thinking abilities, and a commitment to innovation in preconstruction processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience (10+ years preferred)
- At least 8 years of construction experience in estimating, project management, or business development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Procore
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and trade partners
- Willingness to travel overnight to project locations
- Valid driver’s license
