About The Position

First Finish, a full-service hotel renovation contractor that is now part of the Shawmut family, is seeking a construction professional to bring practical project experience into the early stages of project planning. The Preconstruction Manager works with Operations and Leadership to shape planning, estimates, pursuit strategy, and project outcomes before construction begins. The role requires 10–15 years of construction management experience, ideally combining project management and preconstruction experience. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. The stated base salary range for Columbia, Maryland, is $165,000–$190,000. Placement depends on factors including experience, project-size capability for construction and field roles, and internal company equity.
