The Preconstruction Manager is responsible for the development of preliminary budgets for clients, procurement of negotiated projects, and the successful development and completion of the preconstruction phase on negotiated projects. This role requires the ability to professionally respond to and manage multiple RFQs, RFPs, Preconstruction projects, and budgets. Based on conceptual drawings and narratives, the Preconstruction Manager will visualize complete mechanical systems and produce complete, qualified budget estimates. They will actively and effectively participate with the project design team to develop mechanical designs that meet project requirements in both design-build and design-assist formats. The role involves working with the Operations team to deliver well-defined, quality, profitable projects and ensuring comprehensive and effective turnover to enable Operations to succeed and maintain a perception of seamlessness with general contractors. The goal is to satisfy project ownership, design team, and general contractor expectations to secure future design-build/design-assist opportunities, while always operating with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
