About The Position
Reeves Young is seeking a Precon Manager to contribute to their robust Preconstruction team by winning bids and increasing the profitability of the company. This role involves cultivating strong relationships with staff, clients, subcontractors, and business partners. The Precon Manager will participate in the quantity takeoff process, perform conceptual level takeoffs, and thoroughly read and comprehend drawings, specifications, and other project-related documentation. They will identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying job conditions, proposals, plans, specifications, and related documents to create Project Information documents and assign scopes.
Requirements
- Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: All Preconstruction Software that may include: Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, Sketchup, Revit, Building Connected, On-screen Take Off, Agtek, Procore, Viewpoint Field Work Center, HCSS, and Destini.
- Understands and implements company policies, procedures, and expectations in ALL aspects including work product, server organization, and company culture.
Responsibilities

- Thoroughly reads and comprehends drawings, specifications and any other project related documentation for project.
- Identifies labor, material and time requirements by studying current job conditions, proposals, plans, specifications and related documents to create Project Information document and assignment of scopes.
- Responsible for producing project estimates, value management, constructability reviews, and related documentation within the timeframe required.
- Provide all aspects of preconstruction project management including client and design team coordination and relationships.
- Train and develop Preconstruction Engineers and support the Senior Preconstruction Manager.
