Requirements

• Associates in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong Math Skills.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to follow directions.
• Good communication skills.
• Analytical troubleshooting/problem-solving.
• Computer skills.
• Independent work habits.
• Good time management skills.
• Associate's degree in engineering, manufacturing, materials science, machining, or equivalent is desirable.
• Ability to Relocate before starting work (Pleasant Hill, CA 94523).

Responsibilities

• Will be trained to independently run a variety of machines, such as LOH and Satisloh, generating, polishing, and centering machines.
• Will be trained to operate inspection equipment such as microscope, micrometers, height gages, Vernier calipers, interferometer, and radius bench.
• Will be trained to read and understand both optical and traditional blueprints.
• Will be trained to perform cleaning and cosmetic inspection of finished optics according to customer requirements.
