About The Position

Sylvamo's Eastover Mill is offering scholarships for a new, one-year Precision Mechanical Maintenance program at Midlands Technical College. This program aims to train individuals to become eligible for entry-level Mechanical Maintenance Technician positions at the Eastover Mill. Graduates will receive a certificate in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance. The program includes the option of a paid part-time mechanical maintenance internship at Eastover Mill while enrolled, paid at $26.46 per hour. The company is seeking dependable individuals with excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and strong interest to work with mechanical equipment
