About The Position
The Precision Manufacturing Technician, also known as a Lapping Technician, sets up and operates automatic and semi-automatic machines and related equipment. The role interacts with highly technical equipment to ensure product performance, monitors process controls against production and process specifications, and logs data in accordance with CGMPs and a Quality Management System. This is an on-site position on the Hardware component manufacturing team in Nicholasville, Kentucky, reporting to the Director of Manufacturing.
Requirements
- Associate degree with 0–1+ years of experience, or multiple years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work with highly precise equipment, including microscopes, lathes, ultrasonic cleaners, lasers, and chemicals.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to stand for 7 hours per day.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to travel to Florida during training.
- ISO 13485 or CGMP experience.
- Experience within a Quality Management System.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines and related equipment.
- Interact with highly technical equipment to ensure product performance.
- Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherence to production and process specifications.
- Log data while following CGMPs and a Quality Management System.
