About The Position

Perform dimensional and functional inspections to ensure materials, components, and assemblies meet engineering and quality requirements. This role involves interpreting drawings, specifications, and quality standards, selecting and performing appropriate inspection methods, and applying GD&T for dimensional verification. The Precision Inspector will also conduct First Piece and AS9102 First Article Inspections, partner with Engineering on new product inspections, and support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires the use of precision tools such as micrometers, comparators, and gauges, as well as operating and analyzing results from CMM equipment.

Requirements

• Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement tools
• Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• CMM experience preferred
• Familiarity with AS9102 a plus
• Expertise in precision inspection and geometric dimensioning
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools and CMMs

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products
• Interpret drawings, specs, and quality standards

• Apply GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) for dimensional verification
• Conduct First Piece and AS9102 First Article Inspections
• Partner with Engineering on new product inspections

Benefits

• Hourly Rate Range: $26.00-$33.00 plus 15% 2nd shift differential
