About The Position

We are seeking a Technician Integration Engineer in Merritt Island, FL for a 6-9+ month contract with a high possibility of converting to permanent. Available shifts include A shift (Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm), B shift (Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1:30 am), and C shift (Friday - Sunday 5am - 5pm). The pay rate is $42-$46.20/hour W2 depending on the shift.

Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in precision assembly
Experience drilling and preparing close tolerance holes for structural assembly and fastener installation
Ability to document and maintain accurate records, strict procedural compliance, as well as read drawings and prints
Ability to use standard tools and basic fabrication equipment
Experience assembling and troubleshooting aerospace, military hardware, or other related fields
Demonstrated ability to use standard mechanical tools, fabrication shop equipment
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion

Nice To Haves

Experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integration
5+ years’ experience in aerospace or related fields
A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration

Responsibilities

Drilling precision holes
Countersinking/installing tolerance fasteners
Hydraulic assembly or other precision assembly experience
Working from a drawing
Cleanroom experience
Drilling and preparing close tolerance holes for structural assembly and fastener installation
Documenting and maintaining accurate records
Strict procedural compliance
Reading drawings and prints
Using standard tools and basic fabrication equipment
Assembling and troubleshooting aerospace, military hardware, or other related fields
Using standard mechanical tools, fabrication shop equipment
Using Microsoft Office Suite
