About The Position
We are seeking numerous Precision Drilling Technicians for a 6+ month contract (with possibility of extension) in Merritt Island, FL. Plenty of overtime available, paid at 1.5x. Targeting $44-$46/hour W2.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-10 years in a manufacturing role in aerospace or a similar industry.
- Precision drilling (close tolerance holes, decimal equivalent drill bits, fasteners, Powerfeed or Quackenbush drills)
- Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, or ladders.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), and have a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN, 5S, and Six Sigma.
Responsibilities
- Expertly perform installations of avionic components and systems, ensuring operational reliability and adherence to design specifications.
- Take initiative in the transition from development to production, supervising qualification timelines and first article assemblies.
