About The Position

Become a Key Player as a Precision Deburr Technician. You will help ensure machined parts meet finish and tolerance requirements, supporting production quality and safety for the team. You will work onsite on the 2nd shift (1:30PM–10:00PM) alongside machinists and production staff to deliver parts that meet drawing specifications and inspection standards.

Requirements

  • Two years of related experience, preferably in an aerospace or comparable environment.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions.
  • Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics (may include trigonometry).
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and measuring instruments.
  • Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Experience applying lean principles and participating in continuous improvement.
  • Ability to use job-specific software applications and employee self-service systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety and maintain a safe, clean work area.
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges, tool marks, and other irregularities from machined parts using hand tools.
  • Polish surfaces to achieve finish requirements per drawings.
  • Operate tumble deburr and media blasting equipment as needed.
  • Inspect parts for conformance using measuring instruments, gages, borescopes, comparators, and magnification tools.
  • Perform close-tolerance operations such as tapping, spot facing, chamfering, countersinking, and counterboring.
  • Use proper PPE (safety glasses, masks, respirators, gloves) according to policy.
  • Participate in lean initiatives by identifying and suggesting improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with machinists and co-workers and follow company procedures.
