This role is part of our ET/UT product line. The person in this position performs a variety of high-precision assembly tasks using assembly procedures, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams. Requirements

  • Ability to work with a microscope.
  • Customer-oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Proficiency in French, both written and spoken (for Quebec positions).
  • Functional skills in English.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma (D.E.S.) or a related vocational diploma (D.E.P.) or a certificate in electronic assembly (an asset)
  • Experience in electronic assembly (a significant asset).
  • Experience working in a LEAN production environment (an asset)
  • Attention to detail, precision, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to perform lead-free soldering (e.g., micro-coaxial wire, electronic components – SMT) (a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Willing to work overtime on occasion.

Responsibilities

  • Perform wiring, soldering, and assembly of various components for mechanical, electronic, or electrical systems.
  • Repair or upgrade units and products.
  • Maintain production and quality standards.
  • Report any irregularities regarding assembly procedures, mechanical parts, electrical continuity, and quality to the production team leader.
  • Use precision tools and measuring devices to perform assembly tasks.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions, such as detailed plans, diagrams, procedures, and assembly drawings, when performing various assembly and sub-assembly tasks.
  • All other production-related tasks.
