Precision Assembler I - 1st Shift

About The Position
As a Precision Assembler you will perform assembly work in a station or line to produce medical devices in an FDA regulated and controlled environment. The shift for this position is 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Thursday.
Requirements
- High school graduate/GED
- Previous assembly experience with small parts required; 1 year
- Experience in crimping and gluing small parts; 1 year
- Ability to perform material replenishment duties; 1 year
- Ability to perform in-process inspections; 1 year
- Ability to perform changeover for parts and equipment; 1 year
- Ability to setup auto baggers and printers for new orders; 1 year
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly-type functions, using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses consistently at or above production targets
- Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
- Inform Team Lead of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment or processes.
- Operate equipment needed to perform job.
- Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment and following standard work.
- Submit Safety Observations through Safety Program and new Ideas through Ideas Program.
- Update the Hour by Hour Board and complete Pareto charts.
- Meet quality assurance requirements, complete DHRs, and perform Process Monitoring.
- Perform other duties as needed.
