About The Position

As a Precision Assembler, you will perform assembly work in a station or line to produce medical devices in an FDA regulated and controlled environment. The shift for this position is 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • High school graduate/GED
  • Previous assembly experience with small parts required; 1 year
  • Experience in crimping and gluing small parts; 1 year
  • Ability to perform material replenishment duties; 1 year
  • Ability to perform in-process inspections; 1 year
  • Ability to perform changeover for parts and equipment; 1 year
  • Ability to setup auto baggers and printers for new orders; 1 year

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly-type functions, using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses consistently at or above production targets.
  • Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
  • Inform Team Lead of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment or processes.
  • Operate equipment needed to perform job.
  • Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment and following standard work.
  • Submit Safety Observations through Safety Program and new Ideas through Ideas Program.
  • Update the Hour by Hour Board and complete Pareto charts.
  • Meet quality assurance requirements, complete DHRs, and perform Process Monitoring.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
