About The Position

For more than 70 years, Senior Metal Bellows has been pushing the limits of innovation—designing and building custom-engineered metal bellows for industries that demand the best: aerospace, defense, energy, and beyond. This role involves learning precision welding techniques in areas such as TIG ID, TIG OD, Laser ID, and Part / Laser Marking, with the goal of earning and maintaining Operator Authorizations. You will be responsible for bringing engineering drawings to life by following documented work instructions and crafting components to exact specifications. The position also includes hands-on machine set-ups, monitoring production in real-time, making adjustments to tooling and machines, and using various inspection tools to ensure parts meet quality standards. Basic computer system usage for recording labor transactions is also required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
No experience necessary - we'll train you!
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Basic computer literacy for data entry and labor transaction systems

Responsibilities

Learn precision welding techniques in TIG ID, TIG OD, Laser ID, Part / Laser Marking.
Follow documented work instructions to craft components that meet exact specifications.
Perform machine set-ups and maintain stable operating conditions.
Monitor production in real-time and make adjustments to tooling and machines.
Use micrometers, verniers, leak-check equipment, and visual assessments to inspect parts.
Record labor transactions and keep required entries accurate and up-to-date using basic computer systems.
