About The Position

For more than 70 years, Senior Metal Bellows has been pushing the limits of innovation—designing and building custom-engineered metal bellows for industries that demand the best: aerospace, defense, energy, and beyond. This role involves learning precision welding techniques in areas such as TIG ID, TIG OD, Laser ID, and Part/Laser Marking, with the goal of earning Operator Authorizations. You will bring engineering drawings to life by following documented work instructions and crafting components to exact specifications. Responsibilities include hands-on machine set-ups, monitoring production in real-time, making adjustments to tooling and machines, and ensuring quality through inspections using various tools. Basic computer system usage for labor transactions is also required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Basic computer literacy for data entry and labor transaction systems

Nice To Haves

Have any experience with microscopes or vision systems
Can work independently and troubleshoot issues

Responsibilities

Learn precision welding techniques in one or more of the following areas: TIG ID, TIG OD, Laser ID, Part / Laser Marking with the goal of earning and maintaining your Operator Authorization(s).

Get hands-on with machine set-ups and keep everything running smoothly by maintaining stable operating conditions.
Be proactive by monitoring production in real-time and making quick adjustments to tooling and machines to keep quality top-notch.
Make quality a priority by using micrometers, verniers, leak-check equipment, and keen visual assessments to inspect parts and ensure everything meets our standards.
Learn our basic computer systems to accurately record your labor transactions and keep all required entries accurate and up-to-date.
