About The Position

Computational Physics, Inc. (CPI) is seeking a Precise Time Network Administrator to support customers at USNO, Washington DC. The role involves comprehensive administration, maintenance, and modernization of network devices within the PT department. Key responsibilities include updating, patching, scanning, and reporting on network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls. The administrator will ensure the Authority to Operate (ATO) for PT applications, manage the network equipment lifecycle, inventory, and sparing, and modernize network administration practices. All activities require close coordination with operational stakeholders to minimize impact on operations.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with ASA firewalls, Firepower devices, and Firepower Threat Defense experience in enterprise network management
Must hold a CCNP certification
An active Top Secret clearance required at start.
U.S. citizenship is required for DoD contracts.

A Security+ Certification is desired but not required

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and modernize network devices controlled by the PT department.
Continuously update, patch, scan, and status report all network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
Perform all duties necessary to maintain the Authority to Operate (ATO) for PT applications.
Manage the network equipment lifecycle, inventory, and sparing.
Modernize network administration practices.
Execute all activities with minimal impact to operations through maximum coordination with operational stakeholders.
