About The Position

Computational Physics, Inc. (CPI) is seeking a Full-Time Precise Time Network Administrator to support customers at USNO, Washington DC. The role involves comprehensive administration, maintenance, and modernization of network devices within the PT department. Key responsibilities include updating, patching, scanning, and reporting on network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls. The administrator will also be responsible for maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) for PT applications, managing the network equipment lifecycle, inventory, and sparing, and modernizing network administration practices. All tasks must be performed with minimal operational impact through close coordination with stakeholders.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with ASA firewalls, Firepower devices, and Firepower Threat Defense experience in enterprise network management
Must hold a CCNP certification
An active Top Secret clearance required at start.
U.S. citizenship is required for DoD contracts.

Nice To Haves

A Security+ Certification is desired but not required

Responsibilities

Comprehensive administration, maintenance, and modernization of network devices controlled by the PT department.
Continuous updating, patching, scanning, and status reporting of all network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
Perform all duties necessary and as directed to maintain the Authority to Operate (ATO) for PT applications.
Manage the network equipment lifecycle, inventory, and sparing.
Actively modernize network administration practices.
Execute all activities with minimal impact to operations through maximum coordination with operational stakeholders.
