About The Position

Aspen Valley Health is hiring a PRN Preceptor (RN) in Perinatal Services. The Preceptor promotes a professional, supportive environment and facilitates and manages the orientation of new, experienced staff, with assistance from the Department Director and Department Educator. The role provides orientation according to established requirements and documents competency completion in a timely manner. It supports AVH Core Values through excellence in patient care, professional development, interdepartmental relations, time management, and continuous quality improvement.

This PRN role works rotating 12-hour shifts. PRN employees may purchase discounted bus passes for transportation to and from work, participate in the 457B plan, and take part in AVH-hosted programs.

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted license and/or certifications required for the primary role.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in the area where providing preceptorship.
• Proven record of exceptional performance in the primary role within the department.
