About The Position

The Pre-scaler (Pre-Scale) position is responsible for accurately scaling and measuring all ingredients, both dry and liquid, using various scales. This role involves condensing partial pallets of ingredients daily, moving pre-scaled ingredients, and combining them onto one pallet. The Pre-scaler will also compile ingredient orders for production items, manually label bags or containers, and stack pre-scaled ingredients on pallets for convenient usage, followed by shrink-wrapping the pallet. Additionally, the role requires preparing containers or pallets, securing ingredients, maintaining a clean work area throughout shifts, and cleaning all utensils and scales at the end of each shift. Sweeping and cleaning the pre-scale rooms are also part of the end-of-shift duties. The position may also involve performing additional tasks, including cross-training on other machines or in different areas as needed.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day.
Must adhere to all GMP policies.

Responsibilities

Prepare containers or pallets and secure ingredients.
Maintain a clean work area throughout shifts.
Clean all utensils and scales at the end of the shift.
Sweep and clean the pre-scale rooms at the end of the shift.
Perform additional tasks as needed, including cross-training on other machines and/or in other areas.
