About The Position

As a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in securing organisations across the UK/EU through the adoption of identity technologies. You will manage technical evaluations, design solutions using Daon’s platform, and directly influence strategic wins in a rapidly expanding market. Requirements

  • 3 + years in a customer ‑ facing pre ‑ sales /solution engineering , consulting or similar rol e
  • 7 + ye ars of in dustry experience , pr efer ab ly in software development / architecture or similar role s
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Strong problem ‑ solving and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written – for your role
  • Knowledge of SaaS, REST / web services, and security technologies
  • Experience working with technical and business stakeholders at various levels
  • Experience working directly with customers in complex environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with biometrics or identity management
  • Knowledge of iOS/Android and web development frameworks ; identity standard s such as OIDC
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture and security
  • Experience working with financial services organizations
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in areas including digital identity, customer identity verification, AI, data protection and information security

Responsibilities

  • Design high-quality customer solutions that clearly demonstrate the value of Daon technology and integration approaches
  • Serve as the primary technical interface with customers in sales cycle
  • Develop and deliver tailored presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proofs of concept
  • Analyse and respond to RFIs, RFPs, writing proposals and related materials
  • Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to represent Daon
  • Act as an expert in identity technologies, including biometrics, digital identity, ID documents and similar
  • Develop innovative solution approaches that strengthen Daon’s competitive position
  • Create solution architectures and show how solutions can be delivered securely and at scale
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Support on strategy and solution design
  • Collaborate with the Daon Customer Success team to ensure smooth delivery handover and support implementation projects as a local technical presence
  • Communicate product requirements and market insights to internal teams
