About The Position

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, cloud architecture, technical consulting, or related fields, with a background that demonstrates hands-on delivery and technical depth.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise AI solution design — including AI platform selection, cloud-based infrastructure, and GenAI/agentic application patterns.
  • Comfortable speaking credibly to MLOps concepts and the pathway from PoC to production.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, and at least one hyperscaler AI platform is required: Azure AI Foundry, AWS SageMaker, or GCP Vertex AI.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and engage confidently with both technical teams and C-level executives.
  • Comfortable leading solution presentations, running demos, and translating complex AI concepts into compelling business value propositions.
  • Working knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI applications, and agentic AI patterns in enterprise contexts.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or client-facing advisory roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Broader hyperscaler exposure (Azure, AWS, GCP) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating solution blueprints, architectural frameworks, or reusable technology accelerators that can be adapted across client engagements.
  • Cloud or AI architecture certifications are a strong plus.
  • Experience working effectively across distributed teams and multiple geographies.
  • Comfort navigating a global consulting environment where ideas and solutions are developed across borders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients and internal account teams to uncover AI priorities, business challenges, and strategic goals.
  • Qualify opportunities, build trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders, and translate client needs into clearly defined AI use cases and solution approaches that demonstrate tangible business value.
  • Design and present enterprise AI solution architectures tailored to client needs — spanning AI platform selection, cloud infrastructure, and GenAI/agentic application patterns.
  • Develop reference architectures, solution designs and methodologies that give clients a realistic and credible path from concept to production, ensuring designs prioritize governance, scalability, and integration with the broader data ecosystem.
  • Own the technical workstream of the AI sales cycle from initial discovery through to close.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial proposals with a strong focus on ROI and business impact, respond to RFPs, lead solution demos, and serve as the primary AI technical point of reference — ensuring tight alignment between client needs and SDG’s capabilities.
  • Develop a strong command of SDG’s AI portfolio — including AI platform partnerships, GenAI accelerators, and industry-specific use cases — and apply that knowledge to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and support new logo pursuits.
  • Contribute to the refinement of SDG’s AI value proposition and go-to-market positioning.
  • Stay current with the fast-moving AI and GenAI landscape — including emerging platforms, architectural patterns, and enterprise use cases.
  • Contribute to SDG’s internal knowledge base, AI accelerators, and reusable assets through SDG iLabs and practice initiatives.
  • Represent SDG at AI industry events, hyperscaler partner conferences, and client briefings.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships that reinforce SDG’s reputation as a trusted AI and data partner.
