About The Position

GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up based in Paris, New-York City, and Boston, with this position specifically on the West Coast of the US. The company is a leader in Non-Human Identity security, providing end-to-end solutions for secrets detection, remediation, observability, and proactive prevention of leaks in code, productivity tools, and environments. Their solutions are utilized by over 600K developers worldwide. The Pre-Sales Engineer will be crucial in nurturing and supporting extended sales cycles, demonstrating the platform to various stakeholders, and collaborating closely with Account Executives to manage complex relationships. The role requires excellent communication and project management skills.

Requirements

  • Significant experience (4-7+ years) as a technical Sales Engineer in a Cybersecurity, DevOps or DevSecOps focused environment.
  • Solid understanding of the modern SDLC, the difference between microservices and monolithic architecture, and CI/CD.
  • Ability to discuss daily workflow with technical teams, specifically how they build software (SDLC), deploy it (CI/CD), and structure their apps (Microservices).
  • Experience working through complex sales cycles in large Enterprise environments.
  • Well-developed project management skills, including experience multi-threading with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Customer-facing & sales oriented personality.

Responsibilities

  • Nurture and support an extended sales cycle, explaining and demonstrating the platform to numerous stakeholders.
  • Be a close ally to Account Executives, working hand in hand to facilitate complex relationships.
  • Work closely with Account Executives in the pre-sales period, helping to close deals by acting as GitGuardian’s technical voice & product expert.
  • Provide support for Proof of Concepts (PoCs), performing technical product demos and addressing concerns.
  • Support pipeline generation by running secrets analysis.
  • Architect and build out custom workflows for prospective customers to demonstrate product value and integration into their environment.
  • Post-sales, answer Tier 1 support needs of existing Enterprise customers.
  • Partner with the Marketing and Product teams to create technical collateral for better understanding of solutions and market needs.
