About The Position

LIDD is hiring a Pre-Sales Engineer to support our growing supply chain software business, with a primary focus on Kinaxis Maestro and a secondary focus on StockIQ. You will partner with our sales and practice leadership to scope opportunities, lead product demonstrations, respond to RFPs, and translate prospect business challenges into compelling solution proposals. This role is critical to converting our pipeline into closed business and accelerating deal velocity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or implementation role for supply chain planning software (Kinaxis, StockIQ, o9, Blue Yonder, OMP, SAP IBP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes: demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, S&OP.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product demonstrations and tailor them to prospect-specific scenarios.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills; confidence in presenting to senior client stakeholders, including VP and C-level.
  • Experience scoping opportunities and contributing to SOWs or proposals.
  • Eligible to work in Canada or the United States.
  • Willingness to travel to prospect and client sites (up to 40%).

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Kinaxis Maestro or StockIQ (configuration, demo build, or implementation).
  • Active Kinaxis certification(s).
  • Experience selling or supporting sales in a VAR/partner channel.
  • Vertical experience in CPG, industrial manufacturing, or distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product demonstrations of Kinaxis Maestro (and StockIQ when applicable) tailored to prospect-specific use cases and pain points.
  • Build and maintain reusable demo environments, scenarios, and scripts that map to common prospect personas (Demand Planner, Supply Planner, S&OP Lead).
  • Conduct discovery sessions with prospects to identify business drivers, current-state pain points, and success criteria.
  • Translate discovery findings into solution scope, effort estimates, and SOWs in partnership with delivery practice leadership.
  • Author RFP / RFI responses and contribute supply chain expertise to proposals.
  • Build cost-of-delay, ROI, and business case materials that champions can use internally to drive deal closure.
  • Partner with Kinaxis field sales and with the team on joint pursuits.
  • Provide product feedback to the practice based on patterns observed across prospects.
  • Stay current on Maestro releases, StockIQ capabilities, and competitive positioning.
