About The Position

Paragon Honda is seeking experienced sales professionals to work as Pre-Owned Automotive Sales Consultants in Woodside, NY. The role manages pre-owned vehicle sales from initial customer contact through vehicle delivery. Consultants generate and manage leads, provide product knowledge, and support customer satisfaction throughout the purchase process. The position is full-time and requires availability during dealership operating hours, including weekends.

Requirements

At least one year of related sales experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong sales skills and excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Organizational skills and effective follow-up to maintain customer relationships before and after the sale.
Valid driver's license.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak a second language.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers to assess their vehicle needs, including make, model, and features.
Explain vehicle features and demonstrate vehicle operation in the showroom and during test drives.
Research vehicle availability and optional equipment using dealership databases.
Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate sales terms, including price, trade-ins, taxes, and financing.
Inspect lot inventory regularly to maintain product knowledge and awareness of availability.
Complete necessary paperwork and ensure timely vehicle delivery and registration.
Conduct vehicle walkthroughs to familiarize customers with their purchase.
Attend training sessions and department meetings to stay current on products and sales techniques.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
