The company offers a diverse team of clinicians trained in LGBTQ+-affirming practices, digital tools to enhance clinician effectiveness, and insurance coverage to make care accessible. Allswell has strong clinical outcomes, with significant reductions in depression and anxiety reported by clients. Our clinical model utilizes gold-standard approaches tailored to the unique needs of the LGBTQ+ community, developed with leading experts in trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ care. It combines affirming, evidence-based treatment with proprietary tools, such as the Trauma Journal, a structured Written Exposure Therapy-inspired tool designed to support clients with trauma-related concerns between sessions and deepen the impact of therapy.

Requirements

  • Active Virginia license as a Supervisee in Social Work, Resident in Counseling, or Resident in Marriage & Family Therapy
  • Experience and a strong passion for working with LGBTQ+ clients.
  • Cultural competence delivering affirming, identity-centered care.
  • Comfortable providing individual / 1-1 therapy in a telehealth setting.
  • Skilled in clinical assessment and timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation.
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual (1-1) therapy in a telehealth setting to LGBTQ+ clients, delivering affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment tailored to the community's needs.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in our EMR (Avon).
  • Deliver care using a range of evidence-based modalities (including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and CPT) matched to each client's needs, and use proprietary tools such as the Trauma Journal and Written Exposure Therapy protocol to extend support between sessions.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision to support your development toward full independent licensure.
  • Maintain a minimum of 10 hours per week of client-facing time, with flexible scheduling.
