About The Position

Discovery Isle Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic full-time Pre-K Teacher to join its preschool community. The role focuses on inspiring curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in children. The teacher creates an engaging classroom, designs hands-on lessons that prepare students for kindergarten and beyond, builds relationships with families through communication and collaboration, and supports each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. The position requires availability from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have an awarded high school diploma or GED.
• Must have one of the following: 12 completed Core ECE units, a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) in Preschool, or six months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
• Nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be available to work 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
