Pre-K Teacher
About The Position
Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows serving White Pine County needs a Pre-K Teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education or Development for children aged 3-5 for our Early Learning Center! This position is a salaried teacher position aligned with the school district and Boys & Girls Club calendar, including closing for summer break. Instructional hours are expected to be 8am to 1pm, with additional prep time before and after instruction, likely 7:30am to 2pm.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or ECSE
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field and state-approved ARL in Early Childhood
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field and 30 or more ECE college credits
- Already enrolled in the TEACH program for an early childhood-related degree
- Provide 3 professional references
- Complete a drug screen (which only includes drugs illegal in the state of Nevada)
- Complete a background check
- Complete a fingerprint check

Responsibilities
- Planning and leading academic and social-emotional activities in a 10:1 class
- Engaging with student families
- Prepare supplies and materials for lessons and exercises
- Manage student portfolios
- Maintain the safety of our children and staff, and ensure an optimal experience for all
