About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to provide a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will develop and implement age-appropriate lessons that support early literacy, math, science, fine motor, and social-emotional development while fostering a love of learning.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience working with pre-kindergarten children in a licensed childcare center or school setting.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
- Must successfully pass all required background and fingerprint checks.
Nice To Haves
- CDA credential or state teaching certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning activities.
- Create a structured classroom environment with positive behavior management practices.
- Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of children at all times.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Build strong relationships with families through ongoing communication and progress updates.
- Observe, assess, and document children's growth and developmental milestones.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
