We're seeking an EEC Certified Pre-K Teacher to join our dedicated team at our Leominster location. If you're an experienced pre-K teacher, preschool teacher, or early childhood educator who loves the 4–5 year age group, we'd love to meet you. In this role, you'll lead a classroom of preschoolers through daily routines, hands-on learning experiences, and age-appropriate curriculum designed to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Requirements

  • EEC Teacher Preschool Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required)
  • Daycare experience in a center-based, private, or public school setting
  • An energetic approach to learning and an positive attitude
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a strong team-focused mindset
  • Flexibility to work an 8–9-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
  • Attentiveness, strong time management, and strong collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials
  • Supporting social-emotional growth, early literacy, and school-readiness through play-based, developmentally appropriate activities
  • Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment
  • Assisting with daily routines, including meals, outdoor time, and naptime
  • Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments
  • Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry
  • Helping children build independence, language, problem-solving skills, and confidence as they prepare for kindergarten
