Pre-K Part-Time Aftercare Support

Join us to work hard, do good, and make a lasting difference! This role supports teachers in managing the aftercare program for the pre-K 4-year-old program. Responsibilities include supporting students with engaging activities, managing outdoor play, maintaining classroom cleanliness, assisting with end-of-day closeout activities, and ensuring student safety at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Evidence of self-motivation, willingness to be a team player, and has a strong sense of personal responsibility
- Ideal candidates are hard-working, urgent, energetic, and are willing to learn and adapt
- Is extremely reflective and constantly wants to improve
- Is flexible and enjoys dealing with unpredictability
- Strong organizational skills
- Communication skills (particularly with children)
- Problem solving skills
- Interest in performing a critical support role
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented environment
- Passion for working with K-12 students
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in managing aftercare program for pre-K 4-year old program
- Support students with engaging in enriching activities in 1:1, small group and whole group settings
- Support in managing outdoor play
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of classrooms ensuring the rooms are ready for the start of school the following day
- Support lead teacher with end of day closeout activities
- Support students with activities including bathroom support, snack, and rest
- Ensuring students are safe at all time during their time in school
