Pre K Educational Assistant
About The Position
This position is for a Pre-K Educational Assistant at Rio Grande Elementary for the 2026/2027 School Year ONLY. The role requires a Level III Educational Assistants License and functional knowledge of job-related duties. A key requirement is an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or current enrollment in such a program. The candidate must be free from physical limitations that would interfere with lifting duties (students, equipment, etc.) and be able to perform physical duties associated with delivering services to special education students. A New Mexico driver's license is also necessary, along with the ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted in the job description.
Requirements
- Level III Educational Assistants License
- Functional knowledge of job related duties
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or be enrolled in a program
