About The Position

The teacher will provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children in the child care program, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development. We serve children across all age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age students. Our program is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports each child’s growth and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (minimum CDA or higher)
• Instructional license PK-4 is a plus
• Knowledge of child development milestones and early learning standards
• Experience using child assessment tools such as ages and stages
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and staff
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and manage classroom behavior
• Leadership skills to mentor assistant teachers or aides

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual a plus but not required.
