About The Position

The Lead Teacher will plan, implement, and assess a developmentally appropriate Pre-K Counts classroom using the Experience Curriculum and assessment tools. The teacher will foster a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children while maintaining compliance with PA Pre-K Counts requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• Current clearances: PA Child Abuse, NSOR, FBI/State Police.

Nice To Haves

• PA Teaching Certification in Pre-K–4 preferred.
• Experience working in Pre-K programs preferred.
• Bilingual a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lessons aligned with the Experience Curriculum.
• Conduct assessments and document child progress.
• Ensure compliance with Pre-K Counts standards and state regulations.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
