Pre-K Childcare Staff – Before & After School
About The Position
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Pre-K Childcare Staff for our Before & After School Program at our Woestina Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves working with children and helping them learn through play and positive experiences, encouraging their curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and committed to providing exceptional care, working well with teammates and communicating effectively with families. This position is part-time and follows the school calendar, with opportunities available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities
- Engage children in learning through play and positive experiences.

- Work effectively with teammates.

- Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
- Maintain program quality reflecting Healthy Kids Program’s model.
- Ensure the site is fully staffed every day.
- Be prepared, supported, and show up for the kids.
- Operate in ratio at all times.
- Maintain accurate and current records.
- Ensure the site is well-stocked with necessary supplies and materials.
- Restock supplies before they run out.
