About The Position

The Pre-Engineered Systems Technician is responsible for inspecting pre-engineered systems and performing minor repairs on pre-engineered systems. This role involves working directly with the pre-engineered division on inspections and repairs, coordinating service work schedules, and resolving field issues related to pre-engineered systems. The technician will also survey repairs, facilitate work completion with service sales, review deficiencies, and provide estimates of labor and material. Additionally, there is a possibility of performing annual inspections of fire extinguishers and emergency lights on the same day as pre-engineered system inspections.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of all types of pre-engineered systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good relationships with customers.
Ability to manage field personnel.
Ability to work with office personnel.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Basic computer skills using Microsoft office.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Possible to get company vehicle when able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the pre-engineered division on inspections and repairs.
Coordinate service work schedules with various departments.
Inspect all pre-engineered systems (hoods, vehicle systems, paint booths, etc.).
Resolve any issues/problems in the field regarding pre-engineered systems.
Survey repairs and facilitate work to be completed with service sales.
Review deficiencies and provide estimate of labor and material to service sales.
Work with the inspection department.
When needed, perform annual inspections of fire extinguishers and e-lights, when it is needed the same day as the pre-engineered system inspection.
