About The Position

Main Line Health is seeking a Pre-Encounter Representative to be the initial contact for scheduled patients entering their facilities. This role is responsible for accurate and timely pre-registration, verification of all financial information, verification of all precertifications/referrals, and notification of financial liability to all scheduled patients, ensuring all financial and regulatory requirements are met. This position requires floating between Paoli Hospital, Collegeville, and Exton locations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications is required.
• Two years working in customer service is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of two year’s registration experience in a medical setting is preferred.
• Experience working with billing and financial data preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance and reimbursement preferred.

Responsibilities
