The Andersen Institute for Economics and Finance is seeking two pre-doctoral research assistants to contribute to its mission of shaping discussions on pressing global economic and financial issues. These roles will focus on projects related to technological change, climate transitions, geopolitical fragmentation, and public debt. The Institute aims to foster intellectual leadership, influence public discourse, and provide strategic direction to business decision-makers. Two specific positions are available: Applied Microeconomics, focusing on AI's impact, firm behavior, labor markets, and policy evaluation using micro datasets; and Macro Finance, examining macro-financial issues with an emphasis on digital finance, global asset markets, and fiscal/monetary policies. Research assistants will work closely with PhD economists, actively engage in the research process, and receive mentorship and career guidance. This is a full-time, two-year appointment designed for candidates intending to pursue PhD programs in economics, finance, or related fields.
